New Leaders Council




In the frenzy of post-election activity, a bunch of resources were floated around on Facebook and elsewhere. Next steps to take, Weekly Resistance actions, the list of fake news sites, etc. We worried most of these resources would disappear in the weeks or months after the election when those links stop showing up on social media and people stop being able to access them easily.

In an effort to keep these available and accessible, we thought that the NLC Boston blog could serve as a temporary centralizing location for some of those progressive resources, at least until a more appropriate custodian comes along. Below is that list.

In his latest episode of On the Schmooze, NLC alum and board member, Robbie Samuels, interviews fellow NLC Boston alum Justin Kang ('13) on his thoughts on leadership, translating what he saw work in tech to the social impact sector, and the importance of mentors and being encouraged at an early age to step out of his comfort zone. From his beginnings as an Obama for America organizer, his blossoming career as an actor, and soon to come out book How to Get Gay Married, this NLC alum is going places and making change. Jared’s newest venture, the web series Hurry Up and Wait, is sure to be a huge hit, especially with our #NLCFamily!



Jared is the creator, writer, executive producer, and lead actor in Hurry Up and Wait, a new Millennial web series.
